Chile, 11th September 1973, lead to dreams and stories that have travelled and remained within our memories; men, women, youth and companions in struggle. Ghosts dressed in steel costumes began to destroy life, love and hope. The ghosts of the past had no mind or heart. The word heart was not in their vocabulary and they brought feelings of terror and unimaginable crime. We will not forget the impact of traumatic testimony on the lives of human beings. Using all their powers to subjugate their own citizens, bring forth a state of insecurity that was never before seen in the democratic history of Chile. Thousands of young Chileans stayed on the sidelines after 1973, limiting all possibilities to dream and the ability to create a free life. My country was covered in grey and many came to think that the night would never end, curfews were longer and in which allowed a longer imposition of death. The ghosts haunted and created destruction in Chile for over 17 years. But the youth of that era were always willing to create change and change our country needs. With all the adversities of the system, fear, crime, lies, and many other injustices imposed by the Chilean dissident, but that did not prevent us from challenging the system. To bring change in peace, work, justice and freedom, it was very hard to recreate the dream and dream of a better future.
