In 2005, Anton Olea was invited to take part in the Biennale
Internatzionale de'll Arte Contemporary, Florence Italy. He exhibited his artworks from the 3rd to 11th of December. Along with another
800 worldwide artists representing 72 countries. He was very honoured to participate in such a prestigious event.
HISTORY:In 2001, the United Nations recognised the Florence Biennale as an official partner in the program "Dialogue Among Nations."
In the works of U.N. secretary General, Kofi Annan: "Artists have a special role to play in the global struggle for peace.
At their best, artists speak not only to people; they speak for them. Art is a weapon against ignorance and hatred and an agent of public
awareness...art opens doors for learning, understanding, and peace among people and nations."
